Route to Predné Solisko
Strbské Pleso - Chata pod Soliskom

The route starts in the village of Štrbské Pleso. After parking your car or getting off the train, follow the blue sign that will direct you to the Chalet pod Soliskom.

After about 2 hours of walking you will arrive at the Chalet pod Soliskom, which is located in the heart of the Tatra nature. Here you can recharge your batteries, enjoy traditional Slovak dishes and refresh yourself. The chalet offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside, so it's worth spending a moment here to relax.
You can also reach the Chalet pod Soliskom by cable car.

From the Chata pod Soliskom follow the red hiking trail that leads to the top of Predné Solisko. This part of the trail is a bit more challenging as it starts to climb steeper.
Front Solisko
- Altitude: 2 093 m.a.s.l.
After overcoming the climb, you will reach the peak of Predné Solisko, which offers panoramic views of the High Tatras, the Podtatranská basin and the surrounding valleys. The view of the iconic Tatra peaks, such as Kriváň and Gerlachovský štít, is simply breathtaking.
After a short break at the top, you can head back along the same route to Štrbské Pleso. The way down is faster, but caution is still needed, especially on the rocky sections.

Predné Solisko is one of the most accessible peaks of the High Tatras, located on the southeastern ridge of the Solisko Ridge. With its height of 2 093 metres, it offers magnificent views of the surroundings and the Low Tatras.
