HOTEL PANORAMA **** is a newly renovated modern apartment hotel, nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Štrbské Pleso. Situated at an altitude of 1300 meters above sea level, within the highest and most popular tourist resort of the High Tatras, its location offers wonderful panoramic views of the High and Low Tatras.
The hotel has been created through a complete refurbishment of the original hotel PANORAMA, whose architectural design has been one of the dominant features of Štrbské Pleso since its inception; people have always been able to admire its distinctive silhouette from several kilometres away.
The original Hotel PANORAMA opened its doors in 1970 when Štrbské Pleso hosted the World Ski Championships in Nordic skiing disciplines. The hotel continued serving guests until 2008. Since 2008, the hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment and forty years after its original opening it can once again offer its services to guests.
The location of the PANORAMA provides natural and climatic spa facilities. Due to its achievements and success in the treatment of patients with non-specific chronic respiratory diseases, the climate environment of Štrbské Pleso holds a special place among Slovak and European climatic treatment locations. Štrbské Pleso is also one of the most famous Slovak sports centres.
